SKATEPARK MANAGER
Lead the day-to-day operations, programming, and culture of the skatepark while helping create a safe, welcoming space for youth and the community.
About the role
The Skatepark Manager works closely with the Executive Director and takes strong on-site ownership of the space. This role is ideal for someone who is confident, community-minded, and comfortable leading a team.
What you’ll do
Operations
Lead opening and closing procedures, oversee the space, and keep the facility clean, safe, and running smoothly.
Programming
Support skateboarding programs, sessions, events, and opportunities for growth.
Team Leadership
Supervise staff and volunteers, support scheduling, training, communication, and team culture.
Community & Safety
Build relationships with youth, families, partners, and community members while maintaining strong safety standards.
What we’re looking for
- Leadership or management experience
- Experience working with youth or community programs
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to take initiative and solve problems
- First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- Passion for skateboarding, youth development, and community
Lived experience, community involvement, and informal leadership will also be considered.
Position details
This role may be part-time or full-time depending on the candidate and the organization’s needs. The position is designed to grow over time, with opportunities for increased responsibility.
