OUR VALUES

INCLUSIVE

A place where kids feel safe.

Some kids walk in carrying a lot more than a skateboard. Pihtikwé gives them space to breathe, feel seen, and be themselves. We look out for one another and put safety first. Everyone is welcome, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or ethnicity. Our team is trained to prevent harassment and support self-expression so every skater can ride with confidence and community.

COMMUNITY

We build this place together.

Pihtikwé exists because people care enough to show up. Skaters, parents, neighbours, and local businesses give what they can so kids have a steady place to land when life feels shaky. Volunteers help with fundraising, events, construction, and upkeep, and their passion keeps the park growing. This grassroots effort builds real pride and connection, turning Pihtikwé into a community that looks out for each other.

SKATEPARK

A place to skate, connect, and belong.

Pihtikwé Skatepark gives Winnipeg skaters the chance to ride year-round and connect with a passionate community. It is a hub where skaters can share experiences, build friendships, and feel a true sense of belonging. With events, workshops, and competitions, the park offers a vibrant space for support, inspiration, and growth on and off the board.
