OUR VALUES
-
Inclusive.
POLICIESPitikwé prioritizes the safety and well-being of all participants, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or ethnicity. This involves educating staff and volunteers about inclusivity, and taking proactive measures to prevent harassment or prejudice. Pitikwé is a place where individuals can freely express themselves and pursue their passion for skateboarding
-
Community.
GET INVOLVEDPitikwé relies on the dedication and commitment of volunteers to bring the project to life. Skaters, parents, local businesses, and other community members can contribute their time, skills, and resources to help with various tasks, such as fundraising, construction, and maintenance. This grassroots effort not only helps to reduce costs but also fosters a strong sense of community spirit and camaraderie.
-
Skatepark.
Pitikwé skatepark provides Winnipeg skaters with the opportunity to enjoy their passion year-round. Pitikwé acts as a hub for the skateboarding community, providing a space for skaters to connect, share experiences, and build friendships. By hosting events, competitions, and workshops, the skatepark creates a vibrant social setting where individuals can find support, inspiration, and a sense of belonging within a passionate and like-minded community.
