NAMASKATE
Join us for Namaskate—a month-long fundraiser blending yoga, skateboarding, and community building! In partnership with Yoga Public, Pihtikwé Skatepark is raising funds to support mental well-being, inclusivity, and free programming for Indigenous Peoples and youth under 18. This year, we’re also fundraising to help cover expenses for our new space in light of the Portage Place redevelopment.
How to Get Involved:
Register for the Namaskate Fundraising Challenge for a chance to win prize packs or a private skatepark rental!
Join us at the Yoga Public Studio May 23 @ 7:30 pm for a special fundraiser class led by Phil Rosario with live music. A $50 minimum pledge gets you in— and the more you raise, the better your chances to win (all donations receive a tax receipt)!
Enter our online 50/50 raffle running all month. Purchase tickets HERE
100% of proceeds go directly to Pihtikwé Skatepark. Help us keep it safe, accessible, and full of life.

OUR VALUES
-
Inclusive.
POLICIESPihtikwé prioritizes the safety and well-being of all participants, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or ethnicity. This involves educating staff and volunteers about inclusivity, and taking proactive measures to prevent harassment or prejudice. Pitikwé is a place where individuals can freely express themselves and pursue their passion for skateboarding
-
Community.
GET INVOLVEDPihtikwé relies on the dedication and commitment of volunteers to bring the project to life. Skaters, parents, local businesses, and other community members can contribute their time, skills, and resources to help with various tasks, such as fundraising, construction, and maintenance. This grassroots effort not only helps to reduce costs but also fosters a strong sense of community spirit and camaraderie.
-
Skatepark.
Pithikwé skatepark provides Winnipeg skaters with the opportunity to enjoy their passion year-round. Pihtikwé acts as a hub for the skateboarding community, providing a space for skaters to connect, share experiences, and build friendships. By hosting events, competitions, and workshops, the skatepark creates a vibrant social setting where individuals can find support, inspiration, and a sense of belonging within a passionate and like-minded community.
