The ‘Seven Teachings Art Collective’ (STAC) is an up-and-coming Winnipeg-based group aiming to offer free art programming, and art mentorship for Indigenous folks of all ages. Non-Indigenous allies are welcome to participate. STAC’s Artist Mentorship Program info will be announced in early 2025. Founded by Métis artist Nichol Marsch and Mixed Dakota, Ojibway artist Jessie Jannuska. Marsch and Jannuska are practicing artists, each with a BFA, and backgrounds in art workshop facilitating.
STAC Art Programming to be held every second Tuesday of the month at Pitikwe Skatepark. March programming will be available during spring break.
Art Mentorship Programming. Coming January 2025, 2nd location TBA.

You will be provided your own Strawberry Beaded Pin Project Kit that includes a detailed instruction booklet, and all supplies to complete 1 pin. Beginners welcome. Beading Instructor will be leading the group. Your pin will not be complete during workshop time but well started. Further online beading guidance available following workshop.
March 11th, 2025: Northern Lights w/ Bear Painting Workshop

Description: Jessie will lead the group in a relaxed, step-by-step acrylic painting of the northern lights with a landscape in this workshop. Beginner - advanced painters welcome. No experience is required. You will leave with a finished painting. All supplies included. Snacks will be available. Have little ones? Ask and we can try to accommodate them to paint too!
April 1st, 2025: Mixed Media Art Workshop
