The ‘Seven Teachings Art Collective’ (STAC) is an up-and-coming Winnipeg-based group aiming to offer free art programming, and art mentorship for Indigenous folks of all ages. Non-Indigenous allies are welcome to participate. STAC’s Artist Mentorship Program info will be announced in early 2025. Founded by Métis artist Nichol Marsch and Mixed Dakota, Ojibway artist Jessie Jannuska. Marsch and Jannuska are practicing artists, each with a BFA, and backgrounds in art workshop facilitating.
STAC Art Programming to be held every second Tuesday of the month at Pitikwe Skatepark. March programming will be available during spring break.

You will be provided your own Strawberry Beaded Pin Project Kit that includes a detailed instruction booklet, and all supplies to complete 1 pin. Beginners welcome. Beading Instructor will be leading the group. Your pin will not be complete during workshop time but well started. Further online beading guidance available following workshop.

March 27th, 2025 – Wall Hanging Decorating Workshop

Time: 1-3 PM
Free. For kids/youth ages 7+. All supplies included.
In this workshop participants will learn how to sketch a rough copy design for their own personal wooden Wall Hanging art piece. We will use acrylic paint, markers, and other supplies to create your final masterpiece. Do you struggle with drawing or doing cool lettering? No problem! We will be there to guide and help you.
