At Pitikwé Skatepark, we aim to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, ability, or background. We believe in a community that promotes diversity, respect, empathy, and understanding. To ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all, we expect everyone to abide by the following Code of Conduct:

• 1. Respect and Kindness: Treat all individuals with respect, kindness, and dignity. 
• 2. No Discrimination: Harassment, discrimination, dehumanization or any form of harmful behavior will not be tolerated. Embrace and celebrate our differences.
• 3. Inclusive Language: Use language that is inclusive and affirming to all. Derogatory language, or any words that may hurt or demean others will not be tolerated.
• 4. Consent and Boundaries: Always obtain consent before engaging in physical contact or taking photos or videos of others. Respect personal boundaries, belongings and space at all times.
• 5. Support Fellow Skaters: All skill levels are welcome at Pitikwé Skatepark. If asked, offer encouragement, and advice to beginners who are new to skateparks. 
• 6. Report Misconduct: If you witness any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior, report it immediately to park staff or management. Do not be a bystander. 
• 7. Safe Environment: Prioritize the safety of yourself and others. Follow skatepark rules and regulations, and do not engage in reckless or dangerous behavior. Know your limits. 
• 8. Accessible Space: Be mindful of others, especially those with mobility challenges or disabilities. Keep skate areas clear and avoid obstructing ramps and obstacles.
• 9. Cleanliness: Keep the skatepark clean and free from litter. Dispose of trash properly and help maintain the park's facilities.
• 10. Lead by Example: Be a role model for positive behavior,  inclusivity and change. Encourage others to embrace diversity and create a welcoming environment. Be open to learning from diverse perspectives and take the initiative to educate yourself.
• 11. Drug and Alcohol Free Space: The use, possession, or distribution of illegal drugs and the consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises.We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual who appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or who engages in disruptive behavior. Patrons who violate this policy may be asked to leave the premises immediately. Refusal to comply may result in further action, including banning from future visits.
• 12. Violence of any form, physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, or lateral will not be tolerated - not in the park, not to our staff and not on our social media accounts.

We treat our social media accounts like our home, a safe place, especially for our most vulnerable community, our youth. It is a platform to highlight & inform our community of park programs.
